Logo (March 18, 1990-1997)
Visuals: On a red nebula space background, a golden woman's hand slides from the left, standing in the middle whilst it opens up. A golden hand fan rises down to settle in the middle, opening itself, then closing, with both the fan and hand fading out. Behind it was "BAYER COLOR VIDEO" in a stacked format, with the "Y"'s right-most diagonal stroke attached to the "V"'s stroke. Shortly after, the rest of the logo fades out, as a star shape cutout zooms in to reveal the same background, with "presents:" fading over it.
Variants: On releases of their sub-labels, a different ending preceeds it. After the company's name shows up, "presents" sweeps from the bottom-left, then sliding up to the middle, with the rest in the background fading out, then later the text. Then, the sub-label's logo will appear, varying on each tape, as described below:
- Perverted Cocktail: An distorted image with the bottom part of the image flipped, with the upper part intact zooms in, before decreasing to normal shape. The image reveals itself to be "P E R V E R T E D" surrounded by two thin bars, and "COCKTAIL" in a thick, tri-dimensional typeface. The image distorts again, and zooms out to the upper-right corner.
- United Colors: The texts "UNITED" and "Colors" in a downwards angle sliding to the bottom, then shortly later rotating downwards again and slide fastly more to the bottom.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A dreamy, deep synth note, where shortly a synth sting preceeds it, leading to synth whooshes and an ascending/descending glissando. A light 6-note synth theme preceeds this, with the last being held out. The synth theme fades as it leads to small synth beeps.
Availability: Seen on German blue releases from the era, such as Back to the Roots, Black Blondie and Hollywood Castle.
