Background

Blacke Éditions was a French home video distributor, based in La Garenne-Colombes, Paris. [1]

Logo (1994-1997)

Visuals: On a blue/black/blue gradient background, the glass text "BLACKE" zooms out letter-by-letter slowly while moving to the lower-left portion. The letters move to the right while spinning and swirling, as the reddish text "éditions" flies in from the left while swirling and stretching around. The "BLACKE" text settles above with its letters being close to each other, as well as the "éditions" text settling below while turning white.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A synthesized creaking sound followed by a 2-note synth pad score accompanied by bells. A 4-note synth choir is heard afterwards accompanied by several hits, ending with another 3-note synth pad score, ending with 2 chain hits.

Availability: Seen on a VHS release of Fascination, Lips of Blood, La nuit des traquées and others.
