Background

Brazil Home Video was the former moniker of the company Sato, which started as a home video distributor of anime.

Logo (1985-Late 1980s)

Visuals: On a black background, a swirled, quite shiny shape fades and zooms in and changes back into shape that flashes to reveal a TV tube shape, colored with green, orange and blue spots. Two shiny bars represented by lasers abruptly appear and both draw a straight diagonal bar and an arc shape. The colors then fade into each section by color orders. The shape zooms out in way for the words "BRAZIL HOME VIDEO" in a beveled, rounded font with orange-green colors. Afterwards, both of them flash.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: A rising, loud wobbly whoosh that turns into two synth notes with the last note held out, followed by a whoosh and 15 computer beeps.

Availability: Appeared on releases of Voltes V and 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother.
