Background

Burning Moon Home Video was a sub-label of Dead Alive Productions.

Logo (1995-2000?)

Visuals: On a black background, we see a skull with flesh on both of the skull's eye sockets inside a circle with scratches seen on the left of the circle along with the red text below,

BURNING MOON
HOME VIDEO

Trivia: The skull in the logo is actually the skull that was used for many of the posters and cover arts for the 1992 horror film The Burning Moon.

Variant: A feature presentation variant logo can be seen before the actual logo plays, with the white italic text "Feature Presentation" outlined in red plastered in the front of the logo.

Technique: Possibly live action model work.

Audio: A creepy music box tune along with some howling wolf noises.

Audio Variant: In the Feature Presentation variant, the audio is omitted and is replaced with a male announcer saying "And now... our feature presentation".

Availability: Seen on VHS prints of low-budget horror films such as Uninvited, Las Vegas Blood Bath, Dead Time Tales, Animals, Feast, The Screaming, Camp Blood, Vampire Femmes, and Dark Heritage: The Final Descendant.
