Background

CVC Communication (Cinéma Vidéo Conseil) was a French home video distributor.

Logo (1989-1990)

Visuals: On a starfield background, the red letters "CVC" fly into the view from the bottom one by one, with each line wiping in with a white trail in the left each time the letter flies into view, forming a triangular shape. The white text "COMMUNICATION" slides in from the right letter-by-letter, as the letters gain a white drop shadow effect.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: An uplifting synth ding tune, followed by an ascending synth score.

Availability: Seen on a VHS release of Baxter, Cross, Le Ricain and others.
