Logo (December 1984-April 1985)

Visuals: An iris-in effect occurs, revealing a beige background and the script text "Capricorn" in white, with a black drop shadow, zooming in. As the logo zooms back, a rainbow-coloured gradient appears within "Capricorn", wiping in from bottom to top, and then a ping appears and blinks twice on the tip of the "n". In the bottom right of the text, "VIDEO" types in one-by-one in a typewriter font. The ping then returns as the logo splits into 4 pieces, roughly a quarter of the screen, and spins away as the entire thing fades out.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A ascending, shrill whoosh is heard first, followed by extremely deep synth sounds when "VIDEO" is typed in, and a synth-harp tremolo note when the logo splits.

Availability: Seen on many pre-cert Replay and CBS/FOX releases such as The Devil's Gift, Hell Cats, Hot Times, Ladies of the Night, Rush - The Assassin, See How She Runs, Thursday's Child, and Who Will Save Our Children?
