Logo (September 1983-March 1984)


Visuals: On a black background, the text "CAPSTAN", in a red angular font, wipes in a radial fashion clockwise. Below, "VIDEO", in a squatter, plainer font, wipes in the same fashion albeit mirrored vertically. A slanted red line then wipes in-between the text, while 2 bracket-shaped halves of a box draw in around the logo. The logo then "pulsates" by dimming and brightening again twice.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on pre-cert releases of Another Way, Battle of Algiers, Chappaqua, Clean Slate, and Deep End.
