Background

Cinema Indoors (CID) was a UK independent video company that distributed pre-cert VHS and Betamax tapes from around the year of 1983. It was formed in February 1983 by David Miller and David Britten, an enterprising pair also behind on the Rex and Trailblazer pre-cert video labels.

Logo (March-December 1983)

Visuals: On a white background, there is a red-eyed tree frog climbing on top of the text "CID" in a red italic sports-like font.

Technique: None.

Audio: Unknown, as the only video with this logo is completely muted. It's possibly silent as it is a still logo.

Availability: Very scarce, seen on UK pre-cert VHS/Betamax releases of Lemora, Cry Blood Apache, Brother, Will to Die, Vengeance is Mine, Dirt Riders, Sideshow, 27A, Box Office, The Legend of Frank Woods, Warriors of Death, The Fifth Season, The Battle ofSan Pasquale, It Seemed Like a Good Idea At the Time?!, and Sadie.
