Background

Cinema Products Video was an American home video producer.

Logo (1991)

Visuals:

  • Opening: On a grey gradient background with two lights behind, the blue letters "CPV" fly into the view (with the letter "P" flying in from the top, and the "C" and "V" letters flying from the upper corners) and settle above. The grey text "Presents An" slides across the screen while flipping in, along with the magenta text "Encounters Film" sandwiched between two lines below. It zooms out to the bottom, and the logo fades out.
  • Closing: The background and the letters are shown being in a rectangle surrounded by a blue outline and on a turquoise background. The blue text "Cinema Products Video A Marc Greenberg/Richard B. Goldberg Production" is shown below with a drop shadow effect.

Technique: Computer animation for the opening. A still computer graphic for the closing.

Audio: A short rising violin piece, followed by a mellow synth ding score.

Availability: Seen on The Swindle.
