Background

City Video Home was a video distributor in Argentina.

Logo (Late 1980s?-Early 1990s?)

Visuals: Fading to a purple background with a black skyline, it later turns white and the background slides over to reveal it's a purple- orange-yellow gradient background. From below is "CITY" in an abstract blocky font, rising upwards. Underneath it is "·VIDEO·HOME·" that faded in. Later, the logo then pixelates and is wiped out by blue squares.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: "Violentango" by Astor Piazzolla with a Spanish announcer (Daniel Ruiz) saying: "City Video Home, la calidad del video, presenta".

Availability: Seen on releases from the era, such as Uppdraget and Paranoia.
