Background

Colo Studios is a Canadian film production company founded by Chibie Louis-Okoye "to tell true stories of the African people, from the African people".[1]

Logo (November 10, 2022)

Visuals: Set on a scrolling space background, an orange spark emerges near the upper right section, unveils the upper portion of the Earth's horizon, and scrolls upwards. The planet, with Africa facing the screen, zooms towards the screen, then to the left, and back to the center while the remainder of it gets illuminated. Then, the Earth darkens to make room for "COLO", in a metallic rounded/blocky font, turning in to face the screen, "STUDIOS", in said texture and below "CO", fading in, and the spark from earlier re-emerging from the upper right to place itself above the second "O". The background fades to black and five strokes with thinning right ends open up over and below the right portion of the logo. The spark dies down by the end.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on Kofa.
