2nd Logo (March 1, 1979-August 28, 1981)
Logo: On a blue background, a compass zooms out to top left, which later fades out to the CiP from the previous logo, but this time in white, along with the text "Compass International Pictures" wipes next to it. The logo goes down, leaves a couple of trails, which later the center trail wipes out to give place for a black arrow that reads "A New Direction", and a rectangle with a half forefinger-pointing hand in the right, which the rectangle reads "ON COURSE FOR THE 80's AND BEYOND!", which both slide from left to right, in each turn.
FX/SFX: The zooms, the trails, and the slides.
Music/Sounds: None.
