Background

Dog Video Home was a video distributor in Argentina.

Logo (Late 1980s-Early 1990s)

Visuals: On a blue background, there is the text "presenta DOG VIDEO HOME" in white, with gray and black shadows. Then the blue background fades to a stock footage, showing a huge green film reel spinning with purple edges, with a gray grid, and a sun over a sky background, with a filmstrip attached to the reel. The VHS covers then fly from the filmstrip. The background then fades to black.

Trivia: The animation used in this logo comes from a Venezuelan home entertainment company called Video Games de Venezuela.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None, except for the film reel portion, where an orchestral theme plays out, which also comes from the same logo it used.

Availability: Seen on Dog Video Home releases from the era. [Examples?]
