* ''Aquaman (2018)'' and its sequel, ''Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom'' (2023): The logo appears underwater. The second film additionally has a school of dark fish swim around the logo as it appears near the end of its animation; more dark fish swim in front of the logo and turn it into the [[Domain Entertainment]] logo.
* ''Aquaman (2018)'': The logo appears underwater.
* ''Shazam! (2019)'': The logo is red against a stormy night background, like the Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema logos before it, and doesn't have the Justice League montage, due to director David Sandberg actually forgetting about it. The camera then pans down from the logo.

* ''Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020):'' A pink sad face with X eyes is drawn over the logo after its animation finishes. It remains on-screen while the logo fades out.

* ''Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021; Original and Justice is Grey):'' The logo is in 4:3 to fit Snyder's original vision and either in color or black and white, depending on the version. In both versions, after the logo ends, Doomsday's lightning bolts strike behind the logo, causing it to be revealed again (albeit as a silhouette), and a piece of rock obscures the logo from view after a few seconds.

* ''The Flash (2023):'' The Justice League montage is absent once again; instead, the bolt of lightning continues from the Warner Bros. Pictures logo and travels through three older DC logos and the current logo (in order: the 1940 logo, the 1977 logo, the 2005 logo and the 2016 logo itself) within the red vortex, all golden in color; the logo then zooms out from a wall clock. Of note is that the 1940 DC logo makes its first appearance in a theatrical DC movie, but its design is slightly altered: here, "A SUPERMAN PUBLICATION" (which was used from 1942 to 1949) is not present on the circle. Like the Warner Bros. logo, this logo was designed by Picturemill.

These are the logo variations seen throughout the years by DC Entertainment, with more to be added overtime.

Regular Logo Variants

The Dark Knight Trilogy:

  • Batman Begins (2005): First movie to use the 2005 DC Comics logo. Here, it is in black & white.
  • The Dark Knight (2008): The logo is in a navy-blue color.
  • The Dark Knight Rises (2012): First movie to use the 2012 logo. The animated logo is used, but the "C" has a metallic skin.

Superman Returns (2006): The logo is in a sky-blue color (closer to Superman's suit), and features comic-book images of Clark Kent removing his glasses and ripping his shirt open.

V for Vendetta (2006): The Vertigo Comics version of the DC Comics logo is dark gray and has an old film effect to it.

Watchmen (2009): The print logo is black on a goldenrod background, like the Warner Bros., Legendary Pictures, and Paramount logos before it.

Watchmen: Under the Hood (2009): The logo is in its 1976-2005 form and yellow, on a black stripe between two yellow stripes; the other logos (Warner Premiere, Paramount Pictures, and Legendary Pictures) fly in succession with the same variation.

Jonah Hex (2010): The logo is shaded light blue and features comic-book images of Jonah Hex.

Batman: Arkham Asylum (2010): The 2005 logo is on a dark background with some bats passing by. It was later changed to the 2012 logo, then the 2016 logo.

Green Lantern (2011): The logo is tinted in yellowish-green, and features comic-book images of Green Lantern's face and ring. It finishes on a space background. This variant was done by yU+co. On 16:9 widescreen prints, it is open matte.

Batman: Arkham City (2011): The logo is grey, made out of stone, and flies past the camera. It is put on a cloudy background.

  • It was later changed to the 2012 logo.

Gotham City Impostors (2012): The logo is made of yellow oil paint and is put on the same black background as the Warner Bros. Games logo preceding it. The Batman-dressed cartoon character (which is holding a pair of guns and is shooting them; being the mascot of the "Bats") from that logo runs underneath it.

LEGO Batman 2 (2012): The logo flies across the screen as part of the opening sequence between the WB Games and TT Games logos.

Robot Chicken DC Comics specials (2012-2015): Inside the "C" is Superman and Aquaman as they appear in the specials.

Red 2 (2013): The "C" is red. This is used with the animated logo.

DC Universe Animated Original Movies: Each film uses a DC logo of a comic-book image, generally of the main/major character of that film.

  • Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013): Inside the "C" is a comic-book image of the Flash.
  • Batman: Assault on Arkham (2014): Inside the "C" is a comic-book image of Harley Quinn.
  • Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (2015): Inside the "C" is a comic-book image of Aquaman.
  • Batman vs. Robin (2015): Inside the "C" is a comic-book image of Robin.
  • Batman Bad Blood (2016): Inside the "C" is a comic-book image of Nightwing, but the logo is fadding out.
  • Justice League vs. Teen Titans (2016): Inside the "C" is a comic-book image of Raven.

The LEGO Batman Movie (2017): The DC logo (in its usual blue color) appears on a dark and cloudy background, and is revealed behind a patch of fog, slowly zooming forward. Lightning strikes behind the logo, and its color changes to gold. As it does, a cloud in the shape of Batman's icon appears behind it.

Batman Ninja (2019): An animated sequence has Batman draw a katana. The DC logo appears on the katana's hilt. This was done by Kamikaze Douga.

DC Extended Universe:

Third Logo

  • Man of Steel (2013): The logo is metallic steel and moves differently on a tunnel-like background.
  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016): The logo is made of metal, and is accompanied by autumn leaves falling.

Fifth Logo

  • Suicide Squad (2016): The logo is in neon colors and sports a harlequin design. After a few seconds, it turns off. Then, it rotates and the camera zooms through it to reveal the movie's opening scene.

Sixth Logo

  • Aquaman (2018) and its sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023): The logo appears underwater. The second film additionally has a school of dark fish swim around the logo as it appears near the end of its animation; more dark fish swim in front of the logo and turn it into the Domain Entertainment logo.
  • Shazam! (2019): The logo is red against a stormy night background, like the Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema logos before it, and doesn't have the Justice League montage, due to director David Sandberg actually forgetting about it. The camera then pans down from the logo.
  • Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020): A pink sad face with X eyes is drawn over the logo after its animation finishes. It remains on-screen while the logo fades out.
  • Wonder Woman 1984 (2020): The logo is formed by various silver television lines, and glitches from the Warner Bros. Pictures logo; the Justice League montage is absent again. The lines then zoom in.
  • Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021; Original and Justice is Grey): The logo is in 4:3 to fit Snyder's original vision and either in color or black and white, depending on the version. In both versions, after the logo ends, Doomsday's lightning bolts strike behind the logo, causing it to be revealed again (albeit as a silhouette), and a piece of rock obscures the logo from view after a few seconds.
  • Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023): The logo plays normally, but at the end, it is revealed to be made out of earth/rock just like the preceding WBP and NLC logos.
  • The Flash (2023): Once again, Justice League montage is absent; instead, the bolt of lightning continues from the Warner Bros.
  • Blue Beetle (2023): The Justice League montage is absent once more; the logo appears in the form of an energy construct from the Scarab, as the 2023 Warner Bros. Pictures logo deforms, and appears in space before it deforms as the background fades to black. Like the previous movie's variant, this was designed by Picturemill.

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies (2018), Teen Titans Go! See Space Jam (2021), and Teen Titans Go! and DC Superhero Girls: Mayhem of the Multiverse (2022):

  • The characters in the logo are drawn in the TTG! art style, and are also more visible. This was done by Warner Bros. Animation, based on the standard logo.

Batman: Soul of the Dragon (2021): Four multicolored DC logos form the DC logo in its usual blue color against a black background.

Catwoman: Hunted (2022): The logo is peach with "デイーシー" (Japanese for "DC") below, and is placed on a dusk background.

Tomorrowverse:

  • Justice League: World War II (2021): The DC Comics logo appears in a black-and-white World War 2 newsreel.
  • Green Lantern: Beware My Power (2022): The DC Comics logo is tinted in dark green and zooms in on a green space background.
  • Legion of Super-Heroes (2023): The logo is dark blue and zooms out very slowly in space with blue energy, replicating a Zeta beam.
  • Justice League: Warworld (2023): The logo is orange and is put on a dark red background with flames underneath, just like the preceding WB Animation logo. As it zooms in, some flames briefly appear in front of the logo.
  • Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths (2024): The logo breaks up into pieces.

The Batman (2022): The logo, in a red gradient, cuts in on a black background, like the Warner Bros. Pictures logo preceding it. It cuts out after a few seconds.

Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham (2023): The logo is dark gray and appears on a snowy landscape with mountains, and the screen zooms through it to transition to the opening credits.

Merry Little Batman (2023): The logo is yellow, slightly grungy, and placed beside the Warner Bros. Animation logo on a black background. Both logos then morph into a pair of bat eyes.

  • 2014-2016 episodes: The logo is on a green smoky background, and is still green. Arrows fly behind the logo. Like the 2012-2014 episodes, the "C" has Green Arrow inside it. It transitions to the Warner Bros. Television variation afterwards.

Depending on the show, something happens to reveal the WBTV logo. This was done to promote The LEGO Batman Movie.

  • On the Arrow episode, a LEGO Arrow minifigure fires an arrow from his bow, destroying the wall that the logo is on. The wall is green and there is some fog.
  • On the Flash episode, a LEGO Flash minifigure runs past the logo with his trademark super speed, removing some LEGO bricks from the wall. He speeds past the logo again, wiping it out and destroying the rest of the wall. The wall is red.
  • On the Supergirl episode, a LEGO Supergirl minifigure flies through the wall, causing it to collapse. The wall is blue.
