Background

FilmConfect Home Entertainment was a home entertainment division of the German film distributor FilmConfect.

(2000's-20??)

Logo: We fade into a white background. After a few seconds, we see several blue squares falling down to from the word "FILMCONFECT in a blocky font. The FilmConfect logo of the time (which consists of a blue rounded rectangle with six white squares inside it, with the third one being outlined) quickly zooms out to the left as the squares start to fall again. The logo then moves to the center, and the words:

FILMCONFECT
HOME ENTERTAINMENT

fades in below the logo.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Music/Sounds: A piano tune is heard at the beginning with what sounds like to be falling sounds at the background. An ominous whoosh is heard when the logo zooms out, followed by a reverb tune with a three-note ping and another reverb noise at the end.

Availability: Seen on the company's DVDs from the period. [Examples?]
