Background
Film Clinic is an Egyptian film production company founded in 2005 by Mohamed Hefzy.
1st Logo (December 1, 2006)
Visuals: On a white background, a gray film reel is overlapping with a black box containing the stacked text "The FILM Clinic". Inside the film reel, the left and right sides are colored black and light gray respectively. whereas the holes within the center are white and black.
Technique: A still, digital graphic.
Audio: None.
Availability: It was only seen on The Advertisement.
2nd Logo (September 29, 2011-)
Visuals: Inside a white box, a halftone human left eye is shown within the silhouette of two hands framing the eye in a rectangular box. Below the logo, there is "FILMCLINIC" in a tall font on top of the company's website URL.
Variants:
- The website URL may be removed.
- Sometimes, the logo is inside a bordered square.
- Another variant features a modified version of the above variant where the border is thicker.
- The website URL may also be kept within the border.
- A print version with no coloring exists.
Technique: A still, digital graphic.
Audio: None or the opening theme of the movie.
Availability: It appears at the beginning of most of their productions beginning with Microphone.
3rd Logo (March 1, 2017-)
Visuals: A grayscale live-action left human eye wakes up on a white background. After looking around for several seconds, two live action hands in the same pose from before frame the white background from the top left and bottom right sides, cropping it to reveal a black background with floating red, purple, and medium violet red lights. The hands shatter into triangular pieces while the cropped white box flattens into the picture from before. Before the shattered pieces fully disappear, the company name from before fades in below the image. Both elements zoom out and then stop.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: None.
Availability: The logo made its debut on Ali, the Goat and Ibrahim and later appeared on Sawah and Luxor.
