Logo (November 1982)


Visuals: On a black background, the white letters "gvi" are shown with a translucent "3D" effect, with the "g"'s end looped around with a straight line above "gv". Underneath the letters is the word "VIDEO". Behind it, multiple colored triangles wipe in in the following sequence: red, green, yellow, blue, magenta, cyan and grey. The triangles get slightly smaller with each wipe in, create a "glow" effect in grey surrounding the 12-pointed star shape.

Technique: 2D computer animation.
