Background

GVP Denmark Home Video was a German home video distributor.

Logo (1995-1997)

Visuals: Over a blue gradient background, a golden block pedestal with the two-dimensional text "HOME VIDEO" carved in it (a la the 20th Century Fox's tower) is shown below with searchlights moving around. Another two-dimensional orange gradient text "GVP Denmark" slides down to the pedestal, later sliding back up.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A majestic triumphant fanfare.

Availability: Seen on a VHS release of Braindead, Frankenhooker, The Dead Pit and others.
