Background

Human Kinetics was an American home video production company, based in Champaign, Illinois. [1]

1st Logo (1990s)

Visuals: On a black background, the camera zooms out from a green wireframe running person model, running towards the left portion, as the golden text "HUMAN KINETICS" in a stacked format slides in from left & right while zooming out. The person soon runs to the lower-right portion, as the golden text "The Information Leader In Physical Activity" fades in in the lower-keft portion. The model soon flashes, and the parts of a golden vertical rounded rectangle with a lavender front and the person cut-out in it connect.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An upbeat new-age synth score.

Availability: Seen on a VHS release of Fit Kids Classroom.

2nd Logo (2000s)

Visuals: Over a blue gradient background, the logomark from before, now black and having a golden front while facing the upper-left portion zooms out and faces the screen. The background fades to black, and the silver text "HUMAN KINETICS" wipes in horizontally below while zooming in slightly. The text "PRESENTS" fades in below while also slightly zooming in, as the logomark shines.

Technique: CGI and computer animation.

Audio: A held-out whoosh, followed by a short whoosh when the text wipes in.

Availability: Seen on a DVD release of Fit Kids Classroom.
