Background

KM Documentaries is the documentary division of The Kennedy/Marshall Company.

Logo (August 20, 2023-)

Visuals: On a dark blue background, two vertical arrays of slate blue tinted filmstrip holes are seen. They curve as the screen pans over to the right, passing by a camera lens in the distance, multiple other filmstrip holes of varying path directions and positions relative to the screen, and a rainbow beam on the left by the end of said sequence. Afterwards, a small portion of two filmstrip hole halves are cropped in a larger copy through a crossfade effect, creating the filmstrip from the 2nd Kennedy/Marshall Company logo. "km" and "documentaries" wipe in from right to left and the opposite direction respectively, placing themselves to the right and below both objects

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on San Francisco Sounds: A Place in Time and The Beach Boys.
