Background

Kathmandu Films is a Nepali film production company founded in 2007 by Chandan Jha.

Logo (June 14, 2024)

Visuals: On a black background, multi-colored vertical lights of varied thickness and brightness scroll around from both sides of the screen, fading in and out. Several of these lights unveil portions of the logo, consisting of an outlined, stylized bee within a curvy bordered chevron, both in yellow, on top of "KATHMANDU FILMS" in a stacked format and white color. Eventually, the logo in its normal state is unveiled as it zooms out and the lights fade away.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A harmonious synth string fanfare ending with a long and echoed ding.

Availability: The logo is seen on Bato - Road to Death.
