Background
Medien-Vertriebs GmbH Wiesbaden[1] (MVW) was a German home video distributor.
Logo (1999-2005)
Visuals: Over a zooming-in starfield, the blue letters "MVW" (with the "M" and "W" letters shaped into semicircles) zoom in and spin, with the letter "V" spinning vertically and the rest spinning horizontally. They form an oval shape, and a white wireframe globe zooms in later.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A low held-out synth pad note accompanied by whooshes, ending with a thud.
Availability: Seen on DVD releases of Thy Neighbor's Wife, Death Valley, Acquasanta Joe and others.
