Background

Magnum Golden Video was a video distributor in Argentina.

Logo (1980's)

Visuals: The screen fades to the iris background from black, then the orchid/baby blue "MGV" fades in from the bottom to the top. After that, inside "MGV", the same letters, but in red and outlined in black, zooms in one-by-one to fill in each letter, and "Magnum Golden Video" in white with the black drop-shadow zooms out from the bottom of the screen, placing it below the "MGV". After few seconds, the logo fades out, while the name fades out faster than the rest.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A rising new-age tune ending with a strange synth jingle. It is actually a track called "Legacy" from the Synergy album by Larry Fast.

Availability: It can be seen on VHS tapes from them [Examples?].
