Background

Mateshwari Films was a film production company in India.

1st Logo (December 9, 1994-July 6, 1996)

Visuals: In a room, there is a close up of a statue of Yama (the God of death) that seems to only have eyes, and has a garland of flowers on its neck. The name of the company, in white, fades in.

Technique: Live action, with cel animation for the text.

Audio: A woman singing in Hindi.

Availability: Seen on Zaalim and Masoom.

2nd Logo (April 17, 1998)

Visuals: In a dark room, the screen zooms out to see ringing bells hanging from the wall, while candle lights can be seen below them. The scene fades out to show the image of the Hindu goddessDurga slowly zooming in. As this happens, the name of the company, in gold, slowly appears.

Technique: Live action and CGI.

Audio: The bells rinigng, then a fast-paced drum tune with faint whooshes in the background.
