Background

Nickelodeon Pictures was a British pre-cert video distributor. The name is derived from "Nickelodeon", an early type of cinema, so called because they cost a nickel (five cents) for admission.

Visuals: On a gray background, there is a silhouette of a man staring into a kinetoscope with the words “NICKELODEON PICTURES” below him. Some lights flash around the picture. Below that, the words “Big Movie Video in a Little Red Box.” appear in a red font.

Audio: A bell tune with bangs and a synthesizer.

Availability: Appears on British videotapes of Prisoners of the Lost Universe, The Terry Fox Story, Some Call it Loving, and Stony Island, among other titles.
