1st Logo (1981?-1985?)
Visuals: There is a skin-like color background. Later, several strips of colored bars (pink, red, yellow, green, blue) appears from left and right merging into a rainbow background. A white PAN logo (The PAN cube and the company name below) appears zooming to the center and stopping.
Technique: Traditional animation and scanimation.
Audio: A majestic stock fanfare called "Film Finale", composed by Roger Roger, which is also used by Merdeka Filem Setudio and Goldig Films (H.K.) Ltd..
Availability: It can be seen in some Betamax releases of Indonesian films, such as Jangan Biarkan Mereka Lapar and Biarkan Kami Bercinta.
2nd Logo (1985?-1980s)
Visuals: On a space background covered with several twinkling yellow stars, there is a blue flash far away in the center. Then, in the flash, there is a blue cube made of the company name, "PAN", fading in. The cube zooms towards the camera while it flashes blue several times. When it almost reached the screen, there are two rainbow trails (even though it has only 6 lines) from the left and right of the screen merging into one. When it does, the cube gives out a very large blue flash and freezes in place as the byline, "P.T. PAN INIMPEX CO. LTD." appears sliding in from the left of the screen to the above of the rainbow trail and the company name, "PAN VIDEO" appears, also sliding in but this time from the right, moving to the below of the trail. The stars keep twinkling until the logo fades out.
Technique: Traditional animation for the space background, early CGI for the text and scanimate for all other elements.
Audio: Same as before.
Availability: Can be seen in VHS and Betamax tapes of the time.
- Examples of tapes that have this logo are old Indonesian distributed Sharivan and Gaban tapes (in which all of those films originally came from Japan).
- It also seen on some distributed Indonesian films, such as Satria Bergitar.
