'''Variant:''' At the end of tapes, a short version is used starting with the straight line pattern. Either the same text is used, or "'''A PRECISION VIDEO PRODUCTION'''" appears below, with "A" appearing first and the rest of the letters appearing like so.
Logo: On a green background, we see a director's clapperboard with the clappers separated. When they come together, a wall of white text appears on the black slate. The text remains on the slate for a couple of seconds before the camera zooms quickly on the zigzag patter of the clappers. The black-white line pattern tilts upright then zooms back to show the interlocked "PV" in that black-white pattern. The "PRECISION VIDEO PRESENTS" byline flies towards the screen, one word at a time. The byline is in white.

'''Technique:''' Motion-controlled animation.
Variant: The closing variant starts with the upright black-white line pattern. The logo finishes as normal with the letter "A" simply appearing while the other words zoom in place. The byline now reads "A PRECISION VIDEO PRESENTATION" with "A" on top of the other words.

'''Audio:''' Usually none, though in one variant, there is a British male voiceover say "And now, Precision Video presents...." while a synth tune plays quietly in the background.
FX/SFX: The clapperboard "clapping". The constant zooming inwards and outwards and the byline flying towards the screen underneath the logo.

Logo (1980s)

Visuals: On a green background, a clapperboard can be seen taking up most of the screen, with the top part raised up. The top then drops down, causing warning text to appear on the board. After about 20 seconds, the camera zooms straight into the top clapper, and the diagonal black and white stripes straighten upwards. It then zooms out to reveal the conjoined lettering "PV" in the same pattern. "PRECISION VIDEO PRESENTS" then zooms in word-by-word, then the screen cuts to black.

Variant: At the end of tapes, a short version is used starting with the straight line pattern. Either the same text is used, or "A PRECISION VIDEO PRODUCTION" appears below, with "A" appearing first and the rest of the letters appearing like so.

Technique: Motion-controlled animation.

Audio: Usually none, though in one variant, there is a British male voiceover say "And now, Precision Video presents...." while a synth tune plays quietly in the background.
