Logo (1980-1984, 1987)


Visuals: Against a beige background, the name "RPTA" with "VIDEO" underneath is seen in a blue font. The "PTA" is connected by a line on top of the text. Behind the logo is a blue TV tube shape made up of multiple lines. After a few seconds, the logo cuts to a blue background with copyright information in white.

Closing Variant: Same as the opening variant, except "VIDEO" is omitted, with "RPTA" being in the center, and the text and TV tube are green.

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on UK pre-cert releases of mainly children's titles like the Video Play-Box series. This remains intact on Family Home Entertainment's US release of Play-Box 1 from 1987.
