Background

ScareVille is a Czech film production company.

Logo (July 22, 2021-)

Visuals: A scary silhouette of a warped teddy bear with a jagged orange jack-o-lantern expression and multiple crooked arms extending from its limbs and ears is shown against a partially lit cadet blue striped wall. The screen cuts to a wide shot of a little boy's bedroom, with the window blinds open to show the house is in the middle of a storm. The figure sinks into darkness after the thunder's light dims. Then, a shot of the cowardly boy, and partially covering himself with his blanket while in bed, is shown. He hesitantly jogs and tips his toes toward the silhouette to turn on his desk lamp on the background desk to discover it is a large teddy bear sitting on a chair. To his relief, the child walks towards the stuffed animal and hugs it. Before the screen cuts to black, the figure from earlier suddenly emerges behind the boy from the left. Afterward, "ScareVille", in a horror-themed jagged font with a dim diagonal burst effect, flickers in and out.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The sound of rain and thunder is heard for the majority of the sequence. A rising horror stinger plays until the revelation, to which the sound of thunder stops. The aforementioned intense weather sound resumes when the silhouette re-emerges, alongside a humming sound blending in with the storm.

Availability: The logo is seen on Gump - Una Lección de Vida and Gump – We Are Duo.
