Background
Splinter Films was a film production company founded by Nick Wickham and Emer Patten.
1st Logo (2003)
Visuals: Unknown
Technique: The flashing tilt effect
Audio: None.
Availability: It only appeared on Red Hot Chili Peppers: Live at Slane Castle.
2nd Logo (2006-2011)
Visuals: On a blank background is some red archs revolving (one more brighter than the other). "Splinter Films", and later the copyright notice and byline (in black) fade.
Variant: Sometimes, the copyright notice along the byline may change.
Technique: The archs revolving, the words fading.
Audio: None, the audience cheering or the last note of the song from the crédits.
Availability: Appeared on many concert DVDs produced by Splinter such as Shakira: Oral Fixation Tour, Foo Fighters: Live at Wembley Stadium, Kings of Leon: Live at the O2 London, England and Linkin Park: Road to Revolution (Live at Milton Keynes).
