Background

Supertron Cartoon Video's was the cartoon division of Take 2 Plus that produces public domain cartoon videos.

Logo (1989)

Visuals:

  • Opening: On a black background, a dog wearing blue clothing and a white scarf is seen above the text "SUPERTRON CARTOON VIDEO'S". The logo is against what appears to be a blue room with a star-shaped orange floor.
  • Closing: Against a gray background of "IMAGETECH" copies is a theater room with the opening logo inside the screen. The text "THE END" is horizontally distorted and separated by the Supertron logo.

Variant: On Loony Times with Abbott & Costello, "CARTOON VIDEO'S" was removed.

Technique: A digital graphic.

Audio: None for the opening logo. The closing logo has a portion of the 1939 Merrie Melodies closing theme play over.

Availability: Their tapes have gone out-of-print and they only produced six tapes: two featuring Casper the Friendly Ghost and the rest starring Abbott & Costello. The closing logo was only seen on tapes starring the former.
