The camera faces straight towards the logo and 5 lights flash in below it, forming "V I D E O" in a spaced-out, rather thin version of Impact, and several sunshafts fade in behind the logo.▼

1st Logo (1989-1990)
Visuals: Over a blue/white gradient background is the 1987 TF1 logo with "VIDEO" in spaced white letters.
Variant: The logo zooms in on a black background. This was found on a tape of Pif et Hercule.
Technique: A digital graphic.
Audio: None.
Availability: It can be seen on their first VHS releases, including Funboard: coupe du monde 1988 1ère partie 1989, Le bébé est une personne, Les cigognes n'en font que leur tête, La Planète Miracle, and Pif et Hercule.
2nd Logo (1990-1998)
Visuals: Starting off on an angled shot of a blank tape, the camera zooms out to reveal several of them stacked onto a double-layered disc, which itself is against a dark purple background. The sky starts to brighten up to a dark blue sky with lavender clouds as a spotlight in the shape of the 1990 TF1 wordmark appears over one stack and scrolls up it, and the camera catches a glimpse of it coming from the TF1 logo itself, which contains a blue/red rectangle surrounding it. As it scrolls off the tape stack and the camera rotates around (as well as the sky completely brightened up by now), the word "VIDEO" scrolls to the left on another stack, coming from an unknown source, before the camera starts rising up the stack and the TF1 logo flies up and tilts slightly from behind it. The camera faces straight towards the logo and 5 lights flash in below it, forming "V I D E O" in a spaced-out, rather thin version of Impact, and several sunshafts fade in behind the logo.
Variant: The earliest tapes just had the logo on a marble/cloudy blue background with "presenté" below all spaced out. This was found on a tape of 1989: Les Grands Événements de l'Année released in 1990.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A synth trumpet/string fanfare, with a final note that's held until the logo fades out.
Availability: It can be seen on VHS releases of TF1 programming at the time. Releases include Ma Vie est un Enfer and Zeus et Roxanne, among others.
3rd Logo (1998-1999)
Visuals: On a blue gradient background, the TF1 Video logo zooms out from the bottom of the screen, and slightly tilts. A flash later occurs, making the TF1 logo disappear. The yellow DVD Video logo zooms in and rotates, and the background spins as well.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: None.
Availability: Seen on some early DVD releases from the company, such as the first DVD release of Un Indien Dans La Ville.
4th Logo (1998-2007)
Visuals: Against a space background, there is a bright blue explosion with several lasers shooting at the screen. At the end is a bulging silver blob, which forms a half red, half blue rectangle. The lasers form the white letters "TF1" on the rectangle, and a red bolt of electricity forms the words "V I D E O" below. The URL "www.tf1video.fr" forms below.
Variants:
- Earlier on, the URL doesn't appear.
- There is a widescreen version where at the end, the URL would not form below; instead, the logo would fade out, and the URL would form in the center of the screen.
- A filmed version exists.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Several whooshing and zapping sounds accompanying the effects.
Availability: Seen on French SECAM videos and Region 2 DVDs from the time. [Examples?]
5th Logo (2007-2019?)
Visuals: Against a dark blue background, multiple silver parts move and form the rectangular shield, accompanied by streams of liquid metal, which form the letters. Then 5 silver glowing spheres appear one-by-one outwards below, and morph into "V I D E O" and the glow dissipates. Meanwhile, the letters color white, while the rectangle colors into red and blue.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Peaceful ambient sounds with some deep beats and a synth tune.
Availability: Seen on French DVD and Blu-ray discs. [Examples?]
