In 1987, the home video subsidiary of the Taft-Hardie Group, '''[[THG Video]]''' was renamed itself to '''Taft Video'''. After a management buyout by Neil Balvades, the head of the group in 1988 and its parent was renamed to [[Southern Star Entertainment]], it was renamed to '''[[Southern Star Video]]''' in 1989. [[CIC-Taft Video]] continues to distribute the titles.

After a management buyout by Neil Balvades, the head of the group in 1988 and its parent was renamed to Southern Star Entertainment, it was renamed to Southern Star Video in 1989. CIC-Taft Video continues to distribute the titles.
