Background

Trasharama is an Australian short film festival that screens B-movies, specifically horror and science-fiction films, faux trailers, adverts, and other mediums.

Logo (October 22, 2022)

Visuals: On a black background with a film grain filter, "TRASHARAMA", in a mushy horror-themed font, red fill, with dark red depth, and lime-shaded shadow, flies and spins in from the bottom right and into the centre. Then, "FILMS", in the same fill and a Balloon-like font, zooms out and places itself below "RAMA". Later, the film disintegrates, causing the sequence to destabilize and melt from the centre.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A metal instrumental track, followed by aggressive film rolling that quickly increases in volume after starting. In the end, the film runs out.

Availability: The logo is seen on Ribspreader.
