1st Logo (1983-1984, 1990)

Visuals: On a black background, a yellow and black striped box comes in from the top left of the screen and "flips" its way to the center. On the box is the text "VIDEO PROGRAMME DISTRIBUTORS", in white with the 1st letter of them being much larger and in red. "PRESENTS" is also seen below in red. All the text is in italics. The square then flips towards the center, eventually filling up the whole screen for a few seconds, before the entire thing is squished into the center.

Variant: A still and silent variant exists.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: Same as the Replay Video logo.
