Background

Videocam Film Co. was a film company from Hong Kong founded by Chan Kin-Ting and Sek Lap-Fai. Lap-Fai would later start his own production company in Indonesia, Jelita Alip Film, borrowing the logo from Videocam.

Logo (1991-1992)

Visuals: The sequence starts with a golden filmstrip wipes in from the left on a blue-black gradient background. Just before the gold filmstrip fully wiped in, a slightly moved down silver filmstrip wipes in from the right, connecting the gold filmstrip and causing a rotation on the end of the filmstrips. The filmstrips then continue to slide, one-by-one, forming "VF", and flashes. Then the words "藝視影業公司" and "VIDEOCAM FILM CO." fade in below and shines to the right.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A sci-fi synth tune with two whooshes from the filmstrips and several drumbeats, which later segues into a triumphant fanfare.

Availability: Seen on Bullet for Hire and You jian shao ye.
