Background
Visão Filmes was a Portuguese producer, importer and distributor of adult films and erotic articles founded in October of 1987, which was one of the leading distributor of films in the country. They had a vault with more than 400 copies in 35mm and 16mm and over 800 videograms edited. In the 1990s, the company had the honor of being responsible for the programming of Cinema Olímpia, Cinema Odeon and Animatógrafo do Rossio. They we're also the main supplier of films to Cinema Paraíso in Lisbon.[1]
1st Logo (Late 1987-Late 1980s)
Visuals: On a green background, an image of the company's logo zooms and rotates clockwise during the operation. The image continously rotates clockwise and to a different angle, where a copy from the upwards perspective is seen leaking. At this rate, the image rotates back into view while still rotating clockwise. The image includes the text "Visão", a curvy streak, and the text "FILMES" in Futura Bold, with a hyphen in between them over a white background. The green background turns into black, and shortly then it cuts to a lime background with "APRESENTA" at the center.
Technique: Computer animation.
Audio: A constant charming xylophone tune with whooshes in the background.
Availability: Appeared on blue releases during this period. [Examples?]
2nd Logo (Late 1980s-Mid 1990s?)
Visuals: On a dodger blue-black gradient background, the text "Visão", now transparent from the inwards, suddenly appears from the distance in a perspective angle, with a copy of the latter leaking above. The element rotates about once, which then rotates into view. "ADULTOS" in dodger blue with a white shadow casting upper-left, flips in next to the latter. This is then followed by "APRESENTA" appearing from a random section, which flips into view to settle beneath with a trail effect.
Technique: Computer animation.
Audio: Same as above.
Availability: Appeared on blue releases during this period. [Examples?]
3rd Logo (Late 1990s)
Visuals: On a black background, a cracked marble aquamarine square separate themselves against a metal flooring as the camera pans around the middle to reveal an aquamarine upside down triangle with the streak from before where it was carved from the square. The remains of the square fade, leaving small shards on the floor. The separated words "VISAO FILMES" in yellow and in a wireframe effect zoom back as they settle between the triangle and flash to yellow. A bright lens flare occurs, revealing the yellow "V" streak.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A slow rising synth that descends later with a 'slam' during the process.
Availability: Appeared on their last blue releases. [Examples?]
