'''Logo:''' On a white background, we see a crimson-colored box, only this time it's not rounded and there's no outline. The box is actually just the letters stacked on top of each other. The "V" and "Z" move away on the opposite sides, revealing the word "ViZ". The logo then zooms out and a red ball moves downward, from the "i". As the red ball bounces, the black letters of the word "media" bounce, letter by letter. When the word "media" is complete, the red dot flies up around the word, rests on top of the "i". From there, a black dot moves until it rests atop the red "i".

'''Nickname:''' "Manga Letters"

'''Logo:''' On a white background, blocks can be seen with several black-and-white manga pages all over them (they also differ, like with pages from ''JoJo's Bizarre Adventure''), which zoom out. As they zoom out, they reveal to be the "VIZ" letters from before, but thicker and without the dot. The pages then move around, with the logo zooming and rotating into full view, as color sets appear, before the whole logo gets covered in a red substance. A "heartbeat" then ensues, turning the logo 2D and making the background pure white.

1st Logo (2005-2015)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a crimson-colored square with rounded corners and an outline in it. Suddenly, a black stylized "V" flies out and lands on the square, making it spin. Then, a "Z" flies on it, making it spin faster. When the square rests, a white dot falls in the middle of the square and bounces up to reveal an "i", forming "ViZ". "media" fades in below "ViZ".

Variant: A still variant exists.

Technique: CGI by Christine Hermsmeyer at Herms Terms Studios.

Audio: A Japanese-styled flute sounder, complete with percussion. Sometimes, it's the closing theme of the show, or silence.

Availability: Seen on various releases from Viz Media.

2nd Logo (February 2015-2019)

Visuals: On a white background, there is a crimson-colored box, only this time it's not rounded and there's no outline.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A different Japanese-styled flute sounder than the one from the previous logo, still complete with percussion.

Availability: Seen on newer anime from Viz Media. One of the first releases to include this logo is Sailor Moon: Season 1, Set 2; it is preserved on Hulu prints of the season, which is sourced from the boxset. It also appears on recent releases of the first three Pokémon movies after the original distributor lost the rights and Tiger & Bunny on Netflix.

3rd Logo (2019-)

Visuals: On a white background, blocks can be seen with several black-and-white manga pages all over them (they also differ, like with pages from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure), which zoom out.

  • Variant: A version exists where the logo just slowly zooms in.
  • A fullscreen version exists on their licensed shows that were produced in the aspect ratio, such as Pluto TV prints of Sailor Moon.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A slow synth plays at first, before a "THUD" plays with a small sparkle.

Availability: The variant could be seen on several of their YouTube videos, while the normal logo is first seen on Adult Swim airings of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It may appear on future releases by them.
