Background

WSKG is a PBS station in Binghamton, New York.

1st Logo (2003-2007)


Logo: On a black background, we see a spotlight shining on the text "WSKG" in a bold, italic dark gray font with a strange-shaped silhouette behind it. Then, the words "A" and "Production" fade in above and below "WSKG". Finally, the logo fades out.

FX/SFX: The spotlight.

Music/Sounds: A 2-note tune.

Availability: Seen at the beginning of WSKG documentaries.


2nd Logo (2008-2013)


Logo: On a black background with searchlights scanning it, we see the WSKG logo from the previous logo in color ("WSKG" is white with a black outline and shadow, the silhouette is red and connected to a red line), with the words "A" and "Production" above and below it, fade in. The logo shines as "In High Definition" fades in below.

FX/SFX: The animation.

Music/Sounds: A calm synth jingle with guitar notes.

Availability: Seen on local shows produced by WSKG.


3rd Logo (2013-2019)
