Logo (1979-1983)

Visuals: On a space background, three white circles expand at the left side of the screen, with the central circle bigger than the rest. The circles "colorize", with one small ball red, the other small ball green, and the big ball blue containing colors representing the earth, including brown continents. The following text zooms out next to the circles, with the small text "presents" shown underneath:

WORLD OF VIDEO

2000

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: A loud synthesizer fanfare.

Audio Trivia: The same music was used by 1st Call Video Rights Ltd., indicating the fanfare could be stock music.

Audio Variant: For a trailer for the film Nightmares In A Damaged Brain (aka Nightmare), a female British voice-over says "The following preview trailer is not suitable for viewing by persons of a nervous disposition. Switch off your television set immediately, unless you are prepared to be really terrified." over the music.

Availability: The logo appears in some UK pre-cert tapes of Nightmare/Nightmares in a Damaged Brain, Secrets of Sweet Sixteen, Triangle of Venus, Night Fright, G.B.H., Day of Judgement, and The Singing Princess.
