Background

Worldwide Entertainment Corporation was an early video distributor from the early 1980s. Their logo consisted of a stylised globe, centred on Europe, against a striped screen.

1st Logo (Early 1980s)

Visuals: On a black background, the logo of Arista Films and Worldwide Entertainment Corporation appear side by side, in white. Underneath is the following subtitle, also in white:

2nd Logo (Early 1980s)


Visuals: On a black background, a high-contrast photograph of Earth slides into view from the left, before shrinking into the distance. Afterwards, the logo of Worldwide Entertainment Corporation, in cyan, zooms in before the caption "Worldwide Entertainment Corporation Ltd.", in white, fades in. The caption then fades out and is replaced by "Video Marketing and Distribution" in the same font and colour.
