Background

ASG Videofilm was a Russian home video distributor established in 1996. The company might have dissolved in the early/mid 2000s.

Logo (Summer 1996-Early 2000s)

Visuals: Against a purple starfield with what appears to be faint magenta aurora, a gold square frame pans up from below the screen and pans onto view. The gold square appears to contain the thin "АСГ" upwards, two horizontal bars from the middle with "ВИДЕОФИЛЬМ" in between them, and what appears to be half of a semicircle frame with a thicker arched stroke with it's end turning straight in between it. A lens flare containing a 4-pointed star with a ring is settled on the upper-left vertex of the square. Purple light rays then fade and overlap the frame and the elements, before fading out when they settle. A grainy brown rectangle layout fades behind the upper section of the elements, and a grainy black rectangle layout in the lower section. "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" fades below the rest.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A short trumpet fanfare with faint timpani drumrolls. A Russian announcer is heard saying the company's name presenting the film/trailers.

Availability: Shown before trailers and the main features, such as the releases of Balance of Power and Bleeders (Hemoglobin).
