Background

Abramorama is a New York-based studio known for producing documentary films. It was established by Richard Abramowitz.

1st Logo (March 11, 2014?-August 14, 2020?)

Visuals: The logo consists of a red/blue two-sided zigzag rectangle with the letters for "ABRAMORAMA" plastered on each over a black background. The size depends by movie.

Variants:

  • On some movies, the font for "ABRAMORAMA" may differ, in which shows in bold. The logo also appears to be slightly crooked.
  • On A Brony Tale, the logo fades on a white background.
  • On Flock of Four, the logo has a dim glow surrounding it.
  • On Apocalypse '45, the logo is enclosed on a white rectangle.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None or the opening theme.

Availability: Primarily found on documentary films, such as Racing Extinction, Take Me to the River and others.

2nd Logo (June 16, 2017)

Visuals: Over a gray-ish teal vignette background, the segments of the company's logo assemble together. The screen also appears to be shaking, and has a film grain effect.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: The film projector turning on.

Availability: Shown on Hare Krishna! The Mantra, the Movement and the Swami who started it all.

3rd Logo (September 17, 2021?-)

Visuals: On a black background, the rectangles of the company logo unfold starting from the middle, then to both sides. There's also a dimly lit reflection beneath the logo. It may also depend on the size in some films.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Found on documentary films at the time, such as Boris Karloff: The Man Behind the Monster.
