Cartoon Pizza was the second production company of Jim Jinkins, formed in 2001 in partnership with David Campbell after Jinkins' former production company Jumbo Pictures (sold to Disney in 1996) was folded into Walt Disney Television Animation with the cancellation of the Playhouse Disney cartoon show PB&J Otter the same year. In 2015, the company went dormant.
