Background
The Daily Mirror is a British tabloid newspaper founded in 1903. Around the 2000's, free DVDs would sometimes come bundled with the newspaper.
Logo (2006)
Visuals: A red rectangle is seen with the stacked white text "DAILY Mirror", with "DAILY" being smaller and taking the place of the dot in "Mirror", whose "M" is larger than the rest of the word. A black line is seen under the word "Mirror", of which the "M" overlaps.
Variant: On releases distributed by Abbey Home Media, the logo is closer to the screen and also fades in and out.
Technique: A still, digital graphic, with cross-dissolve transitions for the variant.
Audio: None.
Availability: Seen at the beginning of DVD releases included with the newspaper. Known examples include children's DVD releases such as Sooty, The Hoobs, Mopatop's Shop and Horrible Histories.
