Background

The animation division of the Television Corporation of Japan, spun off in 1973 and was rebranded to Eiken. Eiken continued producing most of TCJ's animated output and began overseeing future productions.

Logo (October 6, 1973-)

Visuals: Superimposed on the show's opening or ending background is the Eiken wordmark, which consists of the words "エイケン" in a cubic-style bold script, usually in white.

Technique: Superimposed animation.

Audio: The opening and/or ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on the company's productions, such as later episodes of Sazae-san since 1973.
