Background

LaserVision Produzioni was an Italian educational home video distributor.

Logo (March-October 1992)

Visuals: On a black background, several blue steel lines shoot out of the center to the right, soon zooming in and flipping into a square form, as the background changes to a grey gradient. The lines flip into an upside-down triangle, and a silver outlined square draws in around it. All move to the left afterwards, revealing the blue text "LASERVISION" with a cyan wireframe globe inside the letter "O". A cyan bar with a white word "PRODUZIONI" in it wipes in below, and a silver word "PRESENTA" zooms out while flipping in, extending afterwards.

Technique: CGI and computer animation.

Audio: A 5-note brass synth theme, followed by a 5-note descending ding and 2 descending whooshes. Another synth note is heard at the end.

Availability: Seen on educational VHS tapes produced by the company, such as Scuola facile and Quark magazine 1: Il grande deserto racconta.
