Background

MCTV was a Spanish home video distributor.

Visuals:

  • Opening: The sequence starts off with various lights brightening up on a black background. The screen changes to the white outlined letters "MC", as the 4 colorful copies of them slide off-screen to each side of the screen. The white letters from before zoom out from the upper-right corner with trail effects and flash, and the yellow, orange, red bars slide in from the top onto the letters, followed by a green bar doing the same animation. Three orange bars wipe in in the lower half of the letters, and the upper half fades into white. The green word "tv" slides in from the right afterwards.
  • Closing: On a black background, the logo from the opening is shown having an outline around it, along with the word "tv" being white, and the white text "PELICULA EDITADA EN VIDEO-CASSETTE POR" appears and blinks word-by-word above. The light is shown brightening up again afterwards.

Technique: Live-action and cel animation.

Audio: A drum roll, followed by a majestic trumpet fanfare with a group of people singing "MCTV" twice. It is followed by them singing "Mi canal de televisión" with the last part held out. The closing theme of the film for the closing.

Availability: Seen on a VHS release of Grandes Amigos.
