Background

MRG Video was a French adult video distributor.

Logo (1986-1988)

Visuals: On a zooming starfield, an image of the lips with a white outline flies into the view, facing the screen. The yellow biconcaved letters "MRG" zoom in and out from the center one by one in sync with the music, followed by a yellow word "VIDEO" sliding in from below whilst stretching to its regular form. It zooms out later, and the letters face the top and zoom out also. The red text "RICHARD ALLAN PRESENTE" wiith a white drop shadow wipes in.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A mysterious synth tune along with 3 held out notes each time the letters zoom in.

Availability: Only seen on a VHS release of Diamond Baby and Fantasmes de femmes.
