Background
Zuiyo Eizo officially split onto two entities on March 1975, the second incarnation of Zuiyo, continued licensing and distribution duties of Heidi while Nippon Animation was created to oversee future productions as well as to continue production on A Dog of Flanders, Heidi, Maya the Bee, Vic the Viking, while inheriting the time slot used for Zuiyo's World Masterpiece Theater series.
